Its been over two years since opening Gebuba Wine Bar, and I thought it was time to post a hello to loyal customers and friends; old and new!

For those of you who have yet to pay us a visit, you can find us in Nadur Square in Gozo.  Come in for a glass of wine, after dinner drink or for that big night out! Experience first hand the village atmosphere complimenting this cozy lounge bar and while you’re here, have a look into our wine list and see if you can find your favourite wine in store.

Gebuba Wine Bar carries an ample selection of fine wines; an impressive range of old and new world wines, an assortment of grape varieties, from well known producers and hard to find wines, from most of the vine growing regions of the world.  Also having a fully stocked bar, serving liqueurs, cocktails and coffee. We are certain you won’t leave disappointed!

I have been asked repeatedly; what does “Gebuba” mean?? Gabuba is an authentic Maltese word, rarely used today, meaning a small place, “Gebuba”, spelt with an “e” instead of an “a” holds the same meaning but with a twist of Gozitan accent.  When looking for a name, I wanted something unique and hard to forget and I believe Gebuba captures this, both in name and spirit.

Here at Gebuba Wine Bar we have a theory, the world always seems brighter over a bottle of wine… it creates a way to communicate and share an opinion through the colour.., the taste.., the palate….…and lots more. . . . Cheers!
